FRIDAY MAY 20, 2022
MORVEN MUSEUM & GARDENS
DINNER, OPEN BAR, + LAWN GAMES

Join us in celebrating our 10th Reunion with an epic garden party bacchanal in the Colonial Gardens at Morven, the former New Jersey Governor's mansion.

Moreven’s gardens are a ten-minute walk from the main areas of campus, sitting across from the theological seminary’s library and next to the house formerly known as Aquinas.

The evening begins at 5pm with an open bar, a dinner buffet, and lawn games, and other fun surprises. There will also be an area for children to play - and they are welcome at this event.

Wear what you like! Beer jackets, togas, Tombolos... You can wear your typical Reunions wear, or you can go above and beyond in celebrating being together again.

Ticket sales will open in February 2022 to members of the Class of 2010 only. Pending availability, we will open up ticket sales to members of the Classes of 2009 and 2011.

DETAILS

Our event will be catered by Jose Cintron Catering. In the past, she catered events for the Classes of 1976 and 1938. Food will be Reunions chic - a buffet of Mediterranean fare a decided step above your typical reunions meal. We will have options for vegetarians and those who are dairy-free.

Our bar will feature two specialty cocktails, as well as an open bar.

About Morven

Morven holds a special place in New Jersey history. During his life, signer of the Declaration of Independence Richard Stockton called Morven home. From 1954 to 1982, the Georgian mansion functioned as the official residence for the Governor of New Jersey.

The last governor of New Jersey to live in the house was Brendan Byrne, a member of the Class of 1949. He hosted his 25th Reunion dinner on the front lawn in 1974.

Location

Morven is an easy walk from campus and Nassau Street. It lies directly across from the Theological Seminary Library and Trinity Church. It’s about a 5-minute walk from Rockefeller College, and 10-minutes from Nassau Hall and the 10th Reunion Headquarters.
